Estefanía Sánchez Auñón
Estefanía Sánchez Auñón
received her doctorate in Education from the University of Murcia in 2024, obtaining the qualification of “Cum Laude.” She is currently a PhD Assistant Professor in the Department of Foreign Philology at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. Her major research interests are the utilization of cinema as a didactic material for the teaching of foreign languages, especially English and French; and critical applied linguistics as a methodological framework to address social justice issues. As for the latter, she focuses on environmental degradation through the exploration of environmental education. She is also interested in teacher training and multimodal approaches. She has published papers in internationally-refereed journals such as Porta Linguarum or VIAL, and has disseminated her findings in multiple prestigious conferences. She is also a member of innovation and research projects.
