Ephranette Brown

Ephranette Brown joined Emory Libraries in 2018. She is now Head of Library Conservation, responsible for treatment of all circulating and special collection library material. Ephranette is a graduate of Spelman College and received an MLIS degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She is an active professional member of the American Library Association, Guild of Book Workers, and the Southeast Regional Conservation Association. Ephranette has successfully mentored students across organizations in her career and developed the Emory Libraries book and paper conservation internship program. She has been instrumental in its annual growth, now including additional library departments and divisions.
