Ellen D. Bartley
Ellen Bartley
earned her PhD in Higher and Post-Secondary Education, with a concentration in Business Education, from New York University. She currently teaches principles, managerial and intermediate accounting at Farmingdale State College. Ellen served two terms as Secretary/Treasurer for the Gender Issues and Worklife Balance section of the American Accounting Association and on the Board of Directors of the Long Island, New York Chapter of the Institute for Management Accountants. She currently serves as chair of the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees for The Learning Connection, a 501(c)3 organization that provides tools for the empowerment of women who are undereducated, lack a high school diploma, or speak languages other than English.
