Eleni N. Nikolaou
Eleni Nikolaou
is an Associate Professor at the Department of Sciences of Preschool Education and Educational Design, University of the Aegean. She has been teaching at the University of the Aegean, since 2006. In addition to her teaching duties at the undergraduate level, she also teaches in the Postgraduate Programs of “Environmental Education”, as well as in the “Models of Educational Planning and Development” of T.E.P.A.E.S of the University of the Aegean. She has worked for almost fifteen consecutive years in a counseling and mental health service for children, adolescents and their families in Rhodes, Greece. During her career she has given a lot of lectures in schools regarding mental health issues and she has been participated in professional development training courses for teachers. Her articles have been published in reputable scientific peer reviewed journals and Conferences, either in national or international level. She participates as a reviewer in Greek as well as in International Journals. Her research interests include psychological resilience, psychological wellbeing, mental health promotion, bullying and issues of developmental psychopathology.
