Elena Hueso-García
Elena Hueso-García
is a PhD student in the Doctoral Programme in Specific Didactics at the Universitat de València, Spain. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education with a specialisation in English Language Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Research in Specific Didactics. As a research assistant in the Department of Language and Literature Education, she contributed to the development of a multimodal corpus addressing critical social issues—such as gender equality, inclusion, racism, immigration, and bullying—designed for language teaching. Her research focuses on the use of multimodal resources and translanguaging pedagogy to foster critical literacy and social justice in the additional language classroom.
