Don Donghee Shin
Don Shin, Ph.D. (ICA Fellow), is a Professor in the College of Media and Communication at Texas Tech University, specializing in human–computer interaction, mobile communication, and AI-mediated systems. His research focuses on human–algorithm interaction, examining how algorithms influence human cognition and behavior and, in turn, how human practices and values shape algorithmic systems. He has led numerous interdisciplinary projects on mobile HCI, interaction design, and algorithmic communication, advancing both theoretical and applied knowledge at the intersection of technology and human experience.
