Dilay Turu
Dilay Turu
is a microbiology researcher specializing in antibiotic resistance, biofilm studies, and bioactive compound purification. She earned her B.Sc. in Biology from Dokuz Eylül University in 2022, graduating with honors, and is currently pursuing her M.Sc. with a 3.95/4 GPA. Her research focuses on characterizing bioactive compounds from mosses and their antibiofilm activities. She has published in high-impact journals, presented at international conferences, and worked as a researcher at Dokuz Eylül University’s Science and Technology Research Center. Awarded the TÜBİTAK 2210-A scholarship, Dilay combines expertise in phytochemistry and microbiology to explore innovative solutions in health and environmental science.
