Devvret Verma
Dr.
Devvret Verma
, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology (2020) from the same institution, focusing on in-silico approaches to identify drug targets for drug-resistant Tuberculosis. He also earned an M.Tech in Biotechnology from Graphic Era University and a B.Tech in Bioinformatics from Amity University, Lucknow. With a Scopus h-index of 11 and 725 citations, Dr. Verma has published 89 research papers, edited one book, and contributed to five book chapters. His research interests include bioinformatics, molecular docking, drug designing, and host-pathogen interactions. He is skilled in Perl, R, and recombinant genetics and has received awards like the Young Scientist Award. Dr. Verma holds 27 patents, is a life member of the Microbiologists Society, India, and actively participates in conferences and faculty development programs.
