Denis Samygin

Denis Samygin is a Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor at Penza State University. Areas of scientific interests: strategic planning and forecasting of the agricultural sector, project management and financing in agriculture, food security modeling, financial management in agricultural business, planning budget allocations for agriculture, control and analysis of the use of subsidies in the agricultural economy. Author of more than 200 scientific and educational works, of which more than 100 in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation, more than 15 publications in publications indexed by the international citation databases Scopus / WoS, more than 10 textbooks, including 3 with the UMO stamp, more than 10 monographs in central publishing houses, of which 5 are in a foreign language. Head of scientific projects: (1) Grant of the President of the Russian Federation No. MK-5177.2016.6 “Strategic planning and forecasting of the agri-food sector: project approach”, 2016-2017; (2) RSF grant 23-28-10277 “Territorial planning of the agri-food sector in the context of ensuring the physical and economic accessibility of products”, 2023-2024.
