Daniela Barreiro Claro
Daniela Barreiro Claro
is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Bahia, received her Master's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and her PhD in Computer Science from the Université d'Angers/ESEO in France. Founder and leader of FORMAS - Data and Natural Language Research Center at CNPQ. Works two major projects: CSIS-TIC in University Surveillance, providing Interoperability of Semantic and Pragmatic Data and in Digger, Extracting Information from legal processes in Portuguese. Coordinator of PGComp - Postgraduate Program in Computer Science and is a member of Mechatronics. She has published more than 70 articles in conferences and scientific journals and supervised more than 55 final Undergraduate/Master's/PhD projects. She approved 13 research projects as a member or coordinator with funding from CNPQ and FAPESB. Currently his research area is Natural Language Processing with a focus on Open Information Extraction.
