Connie T. Jones

Connie T. Jones , PhD, LCMHCA (NC), LCAS (NC), NCC, ACS, holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Virginia Tech. She is an Associate Professor at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) in Greensboro, NC, and has a background in clinical mental health and addictions. Her areas of research and teaching interests include multiculturalism, culturally responsive strategies, social justice, and addictions. Dr. Jones also has a particular interest in the concepts of broaching and cultural humility. She has several peer-reviewed publications on these topics and continues to research the concepts in relation to clinical supervision and clinical practice. Dr. Jones’ work reflects her years of experience as a clinical supervisor for clinical mental health and school counselors in training.
