Chaymae Benkirane
Chaymae Benkirane
is an engineer in Agronomy, graduated from the École Nationale d'Agriculture de Meknès (Morocco). She holds a postgraduate master's degree in Plant Genetics, Genomics, and Breeding from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (Spain) and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Sciences of Oujda, University Mohammed I (Morocco). With nine years of research experience, her work focuses on biodiversity and plant genetic variability, as well as the study of bioactive compounds and their sustainable extraction from plant materials. She is also involved in the valorization of plant by-products, exploring their potential applications across various industrial sectors. She has contributed to several scientific publications and communications in these fields.
