Charlene Faye A. Agati
Charlene Faye A. Agati
is a licensed educator and academic with nearly two decades of experience in the field of education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Master of Arts in Education, major in Special Education, from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She is affiliated with the University of the East, Manila, as well as other academic institutions, and actively contributes to teaching and curriculum development across various educational levels. Her areas of specialization include inclusive education, reading instruction, and transition education. Her research interests encompass inclusive classroom practices, literacy development among diverse learners, and school-to-work transition programs for individuals with special needs. Beyond academia, she is engaged in capacity-building initiatives, having conducted extensive training for parents, public school educators, and school administrators on inclusive education. She also serves with the Quezon City Kabahagi Center for Children with Disabilities, a local government initiative that supports children with developmental and learning needs and their families.
