C. Ganeshkumar
C. Ganeshkumar
is an Associate Professor of Decision Sciences & Operations Management and serves as the Program Director of the MBA in Business Analytics at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi. The institute is a Deemed-to-be-University under the Department of Commerce, Government of India. He earned his Ph.D. and MBA degrees from Pondicherry Central University and successfully cleared the UGC-NET in Management in 2010. he has two years of Post-Doctoral Research Experience from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). Prior to his current position, Prof. Ganeshkumar held the role of Assistant Professor: Grade I at the Indian Institute of Plantation Management Bangalore (IIPMB), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and VIT University (Deemed to be University), Vellore. He boasts an impressive publication record, with 30 journal articles indexed in ABDC/ABS/Scopus/Web of Science databases. Additionally, he has presented 15 research papers at various conferences and has organized numerous data analytics workshops, funded by ATAL-AICTE, ICAR, Ministry of Commerce, among others. Prof. Ganeshkumar is highly proficient in various analytical tools and software, including Spreadsheet, IBM-SPSS, Tableau, Python, Power BI, R, Hadoop, and Solver. His research interests span Agri-food value chain, Artificial Intelligence/Blockchain Applications, and Sustainable supply chain management. He has successfully secured funded projects from esteemed organizations such as the Tea Board, Spice Board, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, UNDP, IFPRI-USA, and ADB. In addition to his academic and research endeavors, Prof. Ganeshkumar has actively contributed to administrative roles within the institute. He has served as the Institute Exam Coordinator, Head of PGDM-ABPM Program, NBA Accreditation Coordinator, Warden, led the digitization efforts of the B-School, organized industrial visits, and coordinated the Analytics Research Centre.
