Bui Thanh Tung
Professor
Bùi Thanh Tùng
is a highly distinguished scholar specializing in Pharmaceutical Science. He possesses a strong international academic background, having earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Seville University, Spain, and a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Chosun University, South Korea. Prof. Tùng is proficient in both English and Spanish. His primary research focuses on the evaluation of pharmacological effects, mechanisms of action, and molecular-level toxicity of medicinal materials and natural compounds. A core aspect of his work involves virtual screening of natural compounds with potent pharmacological activity for potential drug development. Prof. Tùng has made substantial contributions to the field, evidenced by his 149 published scientific reports, including 49 articles featured in prestigious international journals. He also holds 8 registered patents or utility solutions. His significant scientific output was formally recognized with the VNU-Hanoi Science and Technology Award in 2018.
