Beatriz Peña Dix
, EdD is an Associate Professor of Languages and Culture in the Pedagogy of Languages concentration at Universidad of the Andes, Bogotá, Colombia. Her research and publications focus on language teaching, intercultural education, critical intercultural pedagogies, intercultural competence (agency) and teacher training. She actively engages in discussions on equity in the classroom and the integration of intercultural perspectives into pedagogies and curricula. Additionally, her work explores intercultural English language teaching, social justice, third spaces, and intercultural dialogue in language education.
