Bappaditya Das
Dr.
Bappaditya Das
is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, West Bengal, India. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. He received his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India, in 2001 and 2007, respectively. He completed his B.Sc. in Physics (Hons) from the University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India 1998. He received the National Award under National Scholarship Scheme (1998-99), MHRD, Government of India, for his exceptional academic performance. He has authored and co-authored more than 15 research articles in international journals and conferences with more than 180 citations. He is a life member of The Institution of Engineers (India), Computer Society of India (CSI) and Fellow Member of Scholars Academic and Scientific Society. His research interests include machine learning, computer vision, deep learning, image processing, and WSN.
