Ayubkhan Kalwad
I am
Ayubkhan Kalwad
is an academician, researcher, and industry professional with a deep interest in entrepreneurship and industrial development, especially in the context of MSMEs in India. I have recently submitted my PhD thesis at GITAM University, Bangalore. My research focuses on the socio-economic factors influencing the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across 13 districts of North Karnataka. This work has allowed me to explore real-world challenges and identify opportunities for sustainable and inclusive growth in the sector. Currently, I’m also working on a research paper studying the implementation of the UNIDO Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) Programme in Belagavi and Dharwad districts. Through this, I aim to contribute to the understanding of how sustainable industrial practices can be integrated into regional development planning. With an MBA from ICFAI University and a passion for research, teaching, and industry collaboration, I strive to bridge the gap between academic theory and business practice, and contribute meaningfully to policy, innovation, and entrepreneurship in India.
