Audra Pickett
Dr.
Audra Pickett
has worked in various education roles for over 23 years. She began her education journey as a sixth-grade teacher and transitioned to higher education teaching in 2010. In 2015, Dr. Pickett began her online higher education professional career. She's served in roles such as in-person and online instructor, concurrent enrollment coordinator, professional development specialist, and curriculum revisions manager. She returned to K-12 in 2023 as an elementary instructional facilitator. In this role, Dr. Pickett is actualizing her dream as a support for teachers and administrators. She also teaches online for the American College of Education in the Teaching & Learning department. She has a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Master's in Curriculum Development & Instruction, a graduate certificate in Post-secondary Reading & Learning, and a Doctorate in Leadership. In her free time, Dr. Pickett enjoys taking advantage of the Colorado outdoors, and spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Manchester.
