Asmita Jain
Asmita Jain
is a graduate student currently pursuing my Master’s in Management Information Systems with an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). She has completed her undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication. She have over five years of experience in network security and cybersecurity, putting information security plans into action and protecting network infrastructure. She has worked with Citrix, Accenture, and HCL as a Senior Network Security Engineer. Products that she has hand-on experience are load balancers (ADC/F5), firewalls (Checkpoint), Cisco routers and switches, and WAF. She has strong interest in improving data privacy standards and investigating novel approaches to changing cybersecurity risks. Researching auditing in generative AI, governance, and risk management is what she is doing right now, and it excites her and makes her ready for the challenges of the future by encouraging her to look into the relationship of cybersecurity in other areas of technology.
