Arunima Shastri
Arunima Shastri
is a legal academic with a focus on the intersections of law, technology, and social justice. She holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from NLU Odisha and is currently completing her Ph.D. at Gujarat National Law University, where her research critically explores the interplay between intellectual property rights, visual art, deepfakes, and digital expression. Her teaching and research interests include intellectual property law, data privacy, blockchain regulation, and human rights law, with a particular emphasis on LGBTQ+ rights. Through her work, she bridges doctrinal legal analysis with contemporary technological and cultural developments, contributing to scholarship and curriculum development in emerging areas of law.
