Arfa Masihuddin
Dr.
Arfa Masihuddin
is a physician and health policy specialist dedicated to improving healthcare systems with a focus on humanistic, patient-centered approaches. As a senior lecturer at the Institute of Business Management, she has also taught MBA students courses on quality management, healthcare leadership, health psychology, and service delivery. Dr. Masihuddin holds a Master's in Health Policy and Management from Aga Khan University, where she was honored with the Global Student Award for Impact & Innovation. Her academic contributions span across leadership in healthcare, quality management, and the development of innovative solutions for improving healthcare systems. In addition to her academic role, Dr. Masihuddin is the founder of Rufayda - Care for Healthcare, a consultancy that enhances healthcare providers' organizational well-being and promotes accessible mental health services. She also founded Walking Thoughts, a platform that offers ERAS and university personal statement consultations and English language coaching. Through her work, Dr. Masihuddin strives to bridge the gap between policy, practice, and people in healthcare, advancing the field through teaching, writing, and consulting.
