Aresha Manamperi
A. A. P. S. Manamperi
is a Senior Professor in the Molecular Medicine Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Her expertise lies in molecular medicine with a focus on infectious diseases, molecular epidemiology, and the development of novel in vitro diagnostic platforms. She has an extensive publication record in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to foundational research on infectious disease mechanisms, genetic diversity of pathogens, and public health genomics. Professor Manamperi has also authored and contributed to multiple academic textbooks and manuals on molecular biology and diagnostics, and has received numerous research awards and recognitions from national scientific bodies. She continues to mentor students and lead research that bridges molecular science with clinical and public health applications.
