Archan Mitra

Archan Mitra is an Assistant Professor at NITTE Institute of Communication at NITTE University, Mangalore. He edited various publications and wrote “Cases for Classroom Media and Entertainment Business,” an IIM textbook. “Environmental informatics and communication for sustainability” is his doctorate at Visva-Bharati Santiniketan, West Bengal. He is also a qualified Science Communicator and Journalism from Indian Science Communication Society (ISCOS), Corporate Trainer with Amity Institute of Training and Development, and Social Media Network Analyst. He loves environmental communication. He received the Journalistic Club of Kolkata Medal of Honour and PRSI Kolkata Chapter Certificate of Merit. He was a World Bank research assistant at IIM Kashipur. He launched the World Bank's Green MBA MOOC. He publishes in prestigious emergency management magazines. IIM Kashipur, Alabama State University, Birmingham, USA, is his research partner. He used Developing Communities from Within (DCFW) to turn a West Bengal village called “Noachar” into an eco-village.
