Anumita Chaudhury

Anumita Chaudhury is a PhD candidate in Management at Christ University, where my research focuses on corporate governance, financial reporting, and fraud detection in emerging markets. Chaudhury holds a Master’s degree in Finance from KIIT University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from L.D College of Engineering. Currently, Chaudhury is affiliated with the Department of Management and Commerce at Garden City University as Assistant Professor. Over the past few years, Chaudhury has conducted extensive research on the impact of financial stability and corporate transparency on fraud risk. Chaudhury's work primarily uses econometric modelling and statistical analysis to identify patterns in financial misreporting, with a focus on companies in developing economies. Chaudhury's research revolves around applying advanced AI/ML techniques such as anomaly detection, neural networks, and unsupervised learning models to uncover hidden patterns in financial datasets, which often indicate fraudulent behaviour. With a passion for financial transparency and governance, Chaudhury's aim is to advance both academic and practical knowledge in this critical area of finance.
