Andreas E. Marinakis
Andreas E. Marinakis
is an economist and, since 2023, a PhD candidate at the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research focuses on the study of the shadow economy and tax evasion. He was born in Crete in 1996, where he lived until the completion of his adolescence. In 2020, he graduated from the Agricultural University of Athens with a specialization in Economic Science and holds an integrated master’s degree (five-year program) in Economic Science. In 2022, he completed a postgraduate program in Accounting and Finance, specializing in Accounting and Auditing, at the Democritus University of Thrace. He actively contributes to the field of Economic Science as a researcher and member of the Economic Chamber of Greece, with a strong focus on ongoing academic and professional growth. He has participated in numerous academic and research conferences, both as a presenter and a researcher, contributing studies and findings in the field of Economic Science. He is fluent in English and is continuously engaged in expanding his academic expertise and advancing his professional development
