Andani Budeli
, am an emerging academic with experience in teaching and learning, as well as community engagement in higher education. I am employed as a Lecturer in the Department of Indigenous Knowledge and Heritage Studies (University of Venda). I hold Bachelor of Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Master of Arts in African Studies degrees, both from the University of Venda. Currently, I am enrolled for PhD in Social Sciences with Indigenous Knowledge Systems at the North-West University (Mafikeng). My research interests center around indigenous water conservation, and food security.” I have published two articles in accredited journals on indigenous water conservation and management and a book chapter on Vhavenda indigenous food security practices. My academic citizenship is coupled with presenting papers in both local and international conferences and supervising postgraduate students. I am a proud champion of the Vhembe Biosphere Reserve Youth Network where I serve as an advisor. I am also a Secretary for the Library Information Services Committee of the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education (University of Venda).
