Anastassios Nanos
Anastassios Nanos
is a systems researcher specializing in computer systems performance, scalability, power efficiency, and security. His expertise spans cloud and edge computing, with a focus on lightweight virtualization, hardware acceleration, and orchestration. He is currently a Director and Systems Researcher at Nubificus Ltd (UK). He holds a Diploma of Engineering (2006) and a PhD in Computer Engineering (2013) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece. Dr. Nanos has contributed to numerous EU and UK research projects as both a principal investigator and an individual contributor, driving advancements in virtualization, unikernels, and secure multi-tenant cloud deployments. Over the past three years, his work has increasingly focused on the applicability of ML/AI mechanisms in computing research and beyond.
