Anand Patil
Anand Patil
, an Associate Professor at the School of Business and Management, Christ Deemed to be University, Bangalore, has held his position since 2017 after completing his Ph.D. at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Karnataka University and both a Master's degree in Commerce and a Master's degree in Philosophy from Shivaji University, specializing in Advanced Accounting and Auditing. With 24 years of combined academic and professional experience, including auditing roles across various institutions, Dr. Patil brings substantial expertise to his academic endeavors. At Christ University, he teaches courses in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation and conducts research in Higher Education, Economics, Finance, and Management. He has published 20 research papers in international journals and 11 in national journals, holds an Indian patent, and has presented 52 papers at conferences. Additionally, he has participated in 49 Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), organized one FDP, completed eight MOOC courses, and published three books, earning several accolades, including a Best Paper Award. Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Patil's administrative roles include Head of the Curriculum Development Committee, Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), and External Ph.D. Evaluator, with his extensive background in administration and industry significantly enhancing his contributions to the university's academic community.
