Ana Isabel Jiménez-Zarco
Ana Isabel Jiménez-Zarco
has a PhD in Economics and Business from the University of Castilla la Mancha and Graduate Building Models in Ecology and Natural Resource Management at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. PhD thesis Award by the Institute of Economic Studies of Madrid. Until 2002, she carried out her teaching and research activities in the Marketing Area of the University of Castilla la Mancha. From 2003 to 2006 she has been a co-odirector of the Master’s Degree Programme in Marketing and Communication Management, and from 2006 to 2012 she was served as Programmme Director of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Open University of Catalunya. She has also been a visiting professor at Universities of East Anglia, and Brighton in the UK and the University of Chapingo (Mexico). As a researcher, her main areas of research interest concern: entrepreneurship, value co-creation process, business and social innovation, brand image and identity and technology adaptation and diffusion processes. Since 2015 acts as evaluator at the European Union Programme ‘Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Networks‘ (H2020-MSCA-ITN), and since 2012 is also evaluator of the Spanish National Assessment and Prospective (ANEP) in the area of business innovation and social innovation. Author of more than 70 articles in journals of national and international – 25 of which are published in international journals indexed in JCR-SSCI- and author of numerous book chapters, she has served as associate editor of Frontiers in Psychology Journal, and reviewer at Computer and Human Behavior, Journal of Business Venturing European Journal of Marketing and Interactive Learning Environment.
