Amna Kausar
Ms.
Amna Kausar
graduated with a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science Engineering student from School of Science, Ajeenkya DY Patil University with specialising in AI and a minor in robotics. Her journey into technology started at a young age, fixing broken electronics, which evolved into winning academic and inter-school competitions, including awards in robotics and business challenges. She is particularly interested in the intersection of her two biggest strengths, creativity and logical thinking, finding a deep interest in the concept of biologically inspired systems like AI and robotics. Her professional experience includes internships in security, research, development, and as an AI solution engineer, she also contributes to developing software for NGOs. Outside of studies, she enjoys playing chess, reading, exploring different art mediums, and practising mindfulness through walks. Currently, she is moving forward with one of her startup ideas, participating in the IUCAA summer school programme in Astronomy and Astrophysics, while working on a personal project aimed at developing solutions for individuals with hearing impairments. By aligning her technical skills with her personal goals, she reflects her commitment to innovation and societal impact. Along with Ms. Shravani Kulkarni and Mr. Piyush Bhosale, she received the Best Thesis Award for their B.Tech. thesis.
