Amitava Pal
Amitava Pal
is the Associate Dean at the International Institute of Sports Management (IISM), which received the prestigious President's Award in 2020. A seasoned academic and industry expert, he has guided pivotal industry reports in collaboration with organizations like FICCI, ASSOCHAM, and IMC. As Training and Research Head, he guided SOPs for the 37th National Games, Khelo India Youth Games, and Khelo India University Games. His research has been featured in leading publications, including Bonn University, Germany, and the University of California, and he received the Best Paper Award for Sustainability in Sports. Additionally, Amitava has mentored IIC fellows for the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and spearheaded training, operation and implementation of the computer science curriculum researched and developed at IIT, Bombay for InOpen, SINE, IIT Bombay.
