Amit Chauhan
is Head of Department of Forensic Science in Parul Institute of Applied Sciences, Parul University, Vadodara, India He has completed his education in B.Sc. (Physics, Mathematics, Statistics) M.Sc. Forensic Science, P.G. C. F. Sc., M.A. Criminology & Police Administration, P. G. D. Adv. F. Sc. R & T., Ph. D Forensic Science. As a faculty, He has worked in Department of Life Sciences, CHRIST University since August 2021-September 2024, Amity Institute of Forensic Science, Amity University, Delhi since September 2015- August 2021 and Continuing his service in Department of Life Sciences (Forensic Sciences) in CHRIST University, Bengaluru since August 2021 to till date. He is Member of Indian Police Foundation, International society of Forensic Genetics-Germany, British Association for Forensic Anthropology, Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences- Egypt etc. He is a certified Doping Control Officer from World Anti-Doping Agency (Montreal- Canada), National Anti-Doping Control Agency- Delhi, India and has worked a Doping Control Officer in various international sports. He has published 170 international publications and 14 book chapters in reputed journals i.e., Scopus, web of science, Thomson Reuters, EBSCO. He has published Six books entitled “A textbook on Cyber Forensic” and “A textbook on Engineering Biology”, “A textbook for Artificial intelligence for Cyber security”, A textbook of Fundamentals of data Science and Python”, “A Textbook of Medical Microbiology” and “A textbook on “Medicinal Chemistry- Durg discovery and development” are in publication process. He has an innovation track with 82 patents including 4 design patents from UK (India, U. K.) and 5 patents are under evaluation in various countries.
