Aleksandra Zając
Aleksandra Zając
is a social scientist specialising in security studies. She holds master degrees in International Relations and in Philosophy. She earned her PhD in 2019 based on a dissertation about customer orientation and improvement of services of the Polish Police. From 2016 until 2021 she worked as an Assistant Professor at the State University of Applied Sciences in Racibórz, Poland, teaching both security professionals (policemen, prison and border guards, soldiers) and civilians. From 2022 to 2024 she worked as Researcher at the American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland, building research capacities of the school. In May 2024 she became Chancellor of Swiss Institute of Management and Sciences. Beyond academia her professional experience include Anti Money-Laundering and paralegal services for business. She also served as United Nation Junior Legal Expert on Poland (2021).
