Alan Pacites Nebrida
is an accomplished educator and researcher with extensive experience in engineering and mathematics education. Currently an Associate Professor V at Nueva Vizcaya State University, he has dedicated over 15 years to academia, holding various teaching and administrative roles. Engr. Nebrida is highly regarded for his expertise in electrical engineering and applied mathematics, which he has demonstrated through his position as Department Chair for the Electrical Engineering Department at his university. His academic background includes a Doctor of Engineering Management in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao and multiple advanced degrees in electronics and communication engineering and mathematics education. Engr. Nebrida's research focuses on practical and impactful solutions in engineering and education. His published works span a variety of topics, including mathematical modeling, sustainable energy, and smart technology applications in agriculture. Notable recent publications include research on a mathematical model predicting licensure exam success for engineering students, as well as an Arduino-based smart energy meter aimed at promoting sustainability. His commitment to bridging theory and practice is further reflected in his books, “Electrical Circuits” and “Elementary Differential Equations,” which provide applied learning resources for engineering students. Beyond his academic and research contributions, Engr. Nebrida actively participates in professional organizations such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Philippine Science Consortium.
