PhD Student in Gifted and Special Education | United Arab Emirates University Al Reem Al Yaqoubi is a PhD student in the Gifted and Special Education Department at United Arab Emirates University. With a strong commitment to inclusive education, she focuses on creating accessible learning environments for students with disabilities. As a person with visual impairment, Al Reem’s personal experience informs her academic work and advocacy, driving her to enhance educational opportunities for individuals with diverse learning needs. Her research interests are centered around developing inclusive educational practices that support both gifted learners and those with special educational needs. Al Reem aims to contribute to the advancement of policies and strategies that promote equality, accessibility, and excellence in education. Through her work, she seeks to ensure that all students, regardless of their abilities, have the resources and support needed to achieve their full potential.
