Ahmet Kaya
Ahmet Kaya
is an assistant professor at the Akdeniz University (Turkey), Faculty of Applied Sciences. He received bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in business administration from Gaziantep University (Turkey). He received a PhD. in business and administration from Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University, 2019. In his doctoral dissertation study, he investigated the establishment of an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) based lean cost management (Value Stream Costing) system in enterprises applying lean production techniques, the correct distribution of common expenses to value streams and more accurate calculation of product cost. He is interested in investor behoviour, decision-making and behaviorul finance. In particular, he has conducted important studies on value stream costing and activity-based costing, and recently he has also conducted research on accounting professionals. In addition, although he has publications on business performance and sustainability, he has generally used multi-criteria decision-making techniques in these publications.
