Agustín Reyes-Torres
Agustín Reyes-Torres
is an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages and Literature Education at the Universitat de València, Spain. He holds an M.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in English Philology from the Universitat de València. He has lectured an extensive range of courses and conducted research fellowships at the University of Virginia, Boston College, Middlebury Language Schools and Columbia University. His current lines of research focus on the development of multiliteracies in the teaching of additional languages and teacher education. His publications include a significant number of journal articles on postcolonial studies, multicultural literature and the use of multimodal resources in the language classroom. He’s the coeditor of Multiliteracies, Multimodality and Learning by Design in Second Language Learning and Teacher Education (Routledge, 2025). Since 2019, he directs the research group Lit(T)erart.
