Adamkolo Mohammed Ibrahim
is Lecturer, Department of Mass Communication, University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. He holds a PhD (Bayero University, 2025), an MSc (Universiti Putra Malaysia, 2017) and a BA (Hons) in Mass Communication. His research addresses social television, OTT/streaming media, ICT adoption, fake news, media literacy and development communication, applying UTAUT2 and culturally grounded frameworks. He has authored 100+ peer-reviewed articles, chapters and monographs and led TETFund fieldwork (300 survey respondents; six FGDs) on misinformation and national integration. He designed curricula, provides copy-editing and communications consultancy, and has been recognised with a Publons Global Peer Review Award (Top 1%) and AD Scientific Index citation rankings.
