Abdullah Özgel
completed his degree in English Language Teaching at Mediterranean (Akdeniz) University, and he is currently engaged in postgraduate studies within the same area of discipline. His primary research interests lie in the fields of second language acquisition and the development of educational technology, particularly focusing on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in English language teaching. He is specifically interested in exploring how AI can be integrated with social-emotional learning to create more engaging, personalized, and supportive language learning environments. Emphasizing the potential of immersive technologies such as virtual reality (VR), his research areas focus on enhancing learner motivation, reducing language anxiety, and facilitating effective language acquisition. His academic pursuits aim to bridge the gap between theoretical frameworks and applied classroom practices through inclusive technology and impactful learning experiences.
