|Abdul-Hamid Abdul-Wahab
is an academic and researcher specializing in finance, Islamic banking and finance, and sustainable development goals (SDGs). He earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). His industry experience includes roles at the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) and SWIFT Support Services Malaysia. Currently a lecturer and Head of the Business Analytics Department at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana, he teaches business finance, corporate finance, investment and portfolio management, among others. His research interests include Islamic finance, banking efficiency, sustainability, and financial inclusion. He has a number of publications in reputable academic journals.
