Mihaela Rosca

Mihaela Rosca is a research assistant within the “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” Iasi University of Life Sciences, Faculty of Horticulture, Department of Horticultural Technology, Iasi, Romania and has the PhD Thesis in Environmental Engineering (2021), MSc in Environmental Management (2009) and BSc in Environmental Engineering in Industry (2012), all from “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi. Research areas: biosorption and bioaccumulation by microorganisms of persistent pollutants from contaminated environments, process modeling and optimization; assessing the impact of abiotic factors on plant growth and removal of environmental persistent pollutants using plants (phytoremediation); human health impacts and risks of pesticides in fruits and vegetables. Academic Editor: Journal of Applied Life Sciences and Environment (ALSE) indexed within EBSCO, FSTA, J-GATE, CABI, Dimensions and OpenAIRE. Authorship: 59 published papers (22 papers in ISI journals from which 5 papers are in Q1 Journals and 3 papers are in Q2 Journals after AIS, while the rest are in Q3 or Q4 Journals; 12 papers are published in journals indexex in international databases, 25 papers are included in ISI Conference Proceedings); 5 monographs published at national publishing houses, 2 book chapter published in Springer Science, 1 book chapter published at a national publishing house; over 120 presentations at international and national conferences with oral/poster communications. Member of 5 national research projects as research assistant. Over 390 citations (WoS), Hirsch index: H=11 (WoS), (Scopus: over 500 citations, H=12; Google Academic: over 685 citations, H=15) Prizes: Best paper award, Best paper of a young researcher .
