Megan Lowe

Megan Lowe has served at the University of Louisiana at Monroe since 2003, serving in various positions, most recently as the Coordinator of Public Services and the Interim Assistant Dean of the Library. She has worked in libraries in one capacity or another since 1997. Her research interests include information literacy, plagiarism and copyright issues (including Creative Commons licensing), open access and open education resources, faculty-librarian relations, and deselection/weeding, out of which her interest in the emotional dimensions of librarianship have emerged. Mrs. Lowe has published several articles and book chapters on these and various other topics. She also founded and edits the scholarly, peer-reviewed open access journal Codex: The Journal of the Louisiana Chapter of the ACRL.
